Four and a Half Weeks

Four and a Half weeks until sunny bliss! What seems to be becoming a tradition, we are venturing down to Marco Island with Klint and Sarah to soak up the sun. Well at least we hope we can soak up the sun. This year is going to be a little different than the past.

Last Year:

Went to Orlando
Drove down in a van
Had Main seat down and put down tons of blankets
Drove through the night
Slept in
Stayed up Late
Packed a swimsuit and a few outfits
Went to Disney World
Ate out late in the evening
Saw a show
Sarah spent half the week with morning sickness
Laid out for hours on end with no interuptions
Pregnant

This Year (forcasting):

Going to Marco Island
Taking a 14 month old and a 10 month old
Can't put the seats down because of car seats
Andy and I are not driving
Taking half the house including a pack-and-play, stroller, carseat, diapers, clothes, floaty, towel, blanket, sandtoys, video camera, big camera, little camera, swim diapers, hat, tons of sunscreen, a fan.... the list goes on.
Can't lay out for hours interrupted, kids gotta nap, play and eat you know.
Sarah will NOT spend half the week in the bathroom.
Scratch the whole sleeping in thing (at least for us)
Probably not going to see any shows
Probably won't really leave the condo
Oh wait... Still pregant


You know though, even with all the nonrelaxing parts of this up and coming trip. I am probably looking forward to it even more. It is amazing how much you love your kids to experience things, and I can't wait to be with Crew when he sees the ocean for the first time, and most likely tries to eat the sand, when andy takes him in the waves (they will probably be cold.. . maybe we should pack the wetsuits... :) ), and to watch him play with Emitt on the beach. Yes, I can say I am super excited for this hassle of a trip!
