The One Week Challenge

Ok, so for the health of my body (and mind), I am making my one week challenge a public matter. If anyone wants to join me feel free! Obviously, I'm not doing this to lose weight but to gain a healthier mind set and perhaps not gain as much weight. See below for my rules. If you decide to join the challenge, tell me so in comments, and use this tag to post on your blog, then post your own rules.


Rule #1: Must weigh myself every day and write it down. (When I'm pregnant I tend to go weeks w/out weighing)
Rule #2: Must exercise a collective 2 hours per week and track it. This can be in the form of anything that is specifically exercising. I can't count my sweeping the house as 10 minutes, because I am going to do that anyways, and it hasn't helped me thus far.
Rule #3: Must drink 64 oz of fluids a day. I don't do pop or coffee, but if I did I wouldn't allow those to count.
Rule #4: Have three nice meals a day, but (My hardest) If I eat between meals it has to be a healthy snack. Fruit, Veggie, Yogurt, or light popcorn. I will NOT eat chips and salsa, I will NOT eat chips and salsa.
Rule #5: On Sundays, I can only have one sweet thing at the church table that is NOT a donut.
Exception : If I do an exercise video, I can have an unhealthy snack.

Ummm....I'm half tempted to join in. But no chips and salsa? Come on, that is the one snack I can always convince myself is good for me. :)

Well, as you know I am doing this as well, I don't struggle so much with the unhealthy snack thing, but the no pop/lemonade/sugar drinks... that is tough. I really have to push myself to excersise too. At the end of the day if all my 64 has been drank, i can reward myslef with something right! :)

I just made it through a great week, but I will join you and try to do another. Salsa is great, you just need to find the healthiest chips or vegetables to dip in it. Have a great week!

Good Luck!! Its tough but you can do it :) I did really well for awhile but the working out thing is just not fitting into the schedule anymore. I am sure I could make it fit in there somewhere. Another thing that I think helps and a few others at work have tried it is not eating after a certain time at night-(8:00pm is my time)
