The Last Straw
Yesterday:
Crew was grumpy, disobedient, and incredibly annoying (sorry buddy!). I had a head ache and was stressed out all before 10:30. I had gained weight from my last week weigh in, which was discouraging. We didn't have a whole lot of food in the house to feed Crew so he was grumpy, bratty, and hungry. I decided to hit the grocery without the boys... By this time my head was really pounding (why didn't that tylenol work?). I get the most noisy cart you can imagine (of course) and finally finish shopping. I go the check out and the woman says in a friendly voice, "Oh! When are you due??" I was just taken aback a little but said, "actually, I'm done, had him six weeks ago..." She spent the rest of the time back peddling and blabbering on and on about who knows what. Now I'm not in denial. I haven't lost my weight and have a long way to go to tighten this very stretch out abdomen of mine, but COME ON! I didn't need reminded! So that was the last straw. I am no longer going to yo-yo back and forth. After a good cry and some determination, I have started a (drum roll please) DIET. AHHHH!
Because of the nature of my blog (being mostly business) I am going to start a weight loss blog. It will probably be a little boring. Some recipes, some food and exercise journaling... I am not afraid to share my weight, measurements and all those goodies. Maybe it will give others courage to join in!
the new address is

I haven't posted yet, but will later today.

Last night I ate a ridiculously huge bowl of ice cream topped with peanut butter and chocolate chips. Then I polished off about a quarter bag of tortilla chips. All while watching about 2 hours of television. I'm in some serious need of inspriation-so needless to say, I'm looking forward to your new blog!
hahahaha! That just sounds like me. I'm such a binger.
Jenna...when I saw you at the LSM auction I thought to myself "she looks really good" and I'm serious!!! But, I will look in on your new blog...I still have baby weight to lose, and mine is 10 1/2 months old!! They're worth it though!
that was from me...Amy M. :)
i thought there was a woman's law that outlaws any comment regarding pregnancy to not be said-NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!
if it's not a law...it should be! it would save embarrassment for all!
take note ladies!
Hi Jenna,
Can't wait for your new blog! I actually had someone ask me at church once whose baby I had. It was my own newborn. Seems that they never realized I had been pregnant. OUCH! Thankfully I can't remember who that was anymore. :)

Awesome, I will be a regular visitor and probably commenter too:) Best of luck, but remember you did just have 2 babies in a short period. Even though I would love to get rid of the extra belly pudge, I'm still blaming it all on extra skin that will never go away. The joys of babies.
She should have taken you out to the parking lot and drove over you a couple times! Ask Sarah about what her grandma said to a lady in church. Her grandma didn't even apologize!
For some reason I can't his comment to post on your new blog so here is my commment for the new blog! And if anyone out there in blog land knows why I have trouble posting on a few blogs I would love advice. Blogger Help was no Help.
Jenna, It does sound like a tough weekend. Try eating a small low cal snack or veggies before you go. Oh and drink a big glass of water. You may still blow it but not nearly as bad. :)
By the way love the new blog!

Jenna, I feel your pain! I have had similar comments said to me before. And as soon as I am pretty much back to my pre-baby weight from Halle, I get pregnant again! But I am not complaining--like Amy said, they are so worth it! However, it wreaks havoc on my body! sigh. I am looking forward to your new blog!
Sounds great Jenna, I would love any advice that you have to give in that area :) I'm having trouble myself getting rid of the baby bulge and I've had 10 months to work on it. Although I should be honest and say that my motivation to get up of the couch may be the problem...
